You did not put your hand up because it was the third time. Or the teacher had moved on, or thirty people were waiting, or asking would have told the room something you would rather it did not know. That is not a work-ethic problem and it is not a you problem. It is the single most common reason a topic goes unfixed for a whole year.
This is the specific thing Lumi is for. You can ask the same question four times, in worse and worse phrasing, at eleven at night, and get a different explanation each time. Nothing registers that you asked twice — there is no class watching.
What it will not do
It will not write your essay, and honestly you should not want it to. The essay you did not write is the topic you cannot answer on in the summer, and that trade always comes due. It also will not hand you the answer to a question you are stuck on and leave it there, because that feels like progress and is not. What it does instead is work out where it actually stopped making sense, explain from there, and check it landed.
And it can be wrong. It will say so when it does not know rather than inventing an answer, but anything that decides a mark is worth checking against your specification — a habit worth having about every tool of this kind and not only this one.
The tutor jobs, not just the explaining
It can set homework and mark it — a real mark, with feedback on the reasoning rather than just the answer. It remembers how you learn between lessons and brings topics back before you forget them. And pause actually pauses: the tutor and the meter both stop, and resume picks up exactly where you stopped, so a lesson can survive dinner.

Questions students actually ask
No, and that is deliberate rather than a limitation. It talks the explanation through on a board it draws as it speaks, starting from where you actually got lost, and when you want to check it landed the questions go on the board. If you want the answer and nothing else there are faster things to use — they are just not much use in June.
That is most of what it gets used for. It does not have opening hours, it does not mind that it is late, and it will not point out that you should have started earlier.
Say so. That is the whole point of the thing — it explains a different way rather than the same way more slowly, and you can keep saying it until something lands. Nobody is counting how many times you asked.
No. Half the time you cannot name the problem, which is why you can show it instead: photograph the question or draw your working on the pad, and it reads the handwriting and finds the line it went wrong on.
